Job function
- To develop a cost-effective plan and schedule to complete a construction project, following a logical pattern in the utilisation of resources
- Selection and coordination of subcontractors working on the various phases of the project
- Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure they comply with all specifications and regulations
- Administration of construction contracts and obtaining of the proper permits and licenses
- Supervises assistant managers, review their reports, check on any reported difficulties, and corrects any deficiencies or safety violations
- Tracks and control construction schedule and costs to ensure project is completed within the time and finances allocated
